Soldiers

In 1 Peter 5:5 the Lord resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. 

“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

I read a beautiful reading today, where the writer says, in the church of Jesus Christ, there are often too many officers and not enough soldiers, how true is that!

This past weekend we have had no less than four Mighty Men Conferences around the world, one in New Zealand, one in Australia, one in the Limpopo Province of South Africa and one in the heart of South Africa, the central part of South Africa.  These events have been run, not by officers, but by soldiers. Just ordinary men and women like you and I. Just ordinary people, who have put their hand up and said, Lord I’ll go. And it’s catching on like a forest fire, praise God for the soldiers.
