Holy Lives

Today, the Lord has reminded me that we have been saved by grace (undeserved loving kindness) through faith, but that, not of ourselves, for it is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8.

However, in Matthew 5:18, Jesus says,

"For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

Yes, we are not in bondage to the law because Jesus Christ has paid the full price for all our sins.  However, the Lord is not annulling one word in the Bible, New Testament and Old Testament until everything is fulfilled. He has put the law there so that you and I can walk in holiness and live holy lives. Thou shalt not commit murder, its quite simple, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not commit adultery, though shalt not covet and so on.

Please never forget, as believers, we have a responsibility to live godly lives so that we can please our Lord and be a good example to our fellow man.
