Carry Each Other's Burdens
Early this morning, I read a beautiful passage from a devotional, and it was signed anonymously. However, it spoke to me directly through Galatians 6:2. The Lord says we are to bear one another’s burdens and, by so doing, fulfill the law of Christ.
The comment underneath the scripture says, ‘by lifting the burdens of others, we lose our own.’ Quite profound don’t you think !
Our enemy is not the devil but ourselves, we must remember that the devil had his neck broken on the cross of Calvary when our Lord Jesus said it is finished. He defeated death once, and for all. We are in that season now when we remember the great sacrifice that the Lord paid for each one of us.
Our biggest enemy is actually ourselves. When we take our eyes off ourselves and try to help others, we find that our burden has been relieved.
So today go out and find someone who is worse than you, help them, love them, take care of them and you will find that you are so much happier so much more content, and so much more at peace.
Jesus bless you
