The Storms of Life

If we look at the Book of Matthew 8:25

Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

Maybe you and I are feeling that way today. We can’t see any way out. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, and it appears that there is no hope for us.  Well, the good news is, Jesus has promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us, no matter how bad the storm might become.  We also need to be very careful how we are walking.

If we look at Matthew 8:26, He says:

“Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” …

Then we read on that He rebuked the storm, and there was a great calm on the lake.  I think the biggest insult we can give to our beloved Jesus, is not to believe His promises spoken over us.  Unbelief has got to be the paramount sin of all.

We need to spend time in His Word, we need to meditate on His promises over us, and that will give us the courage to stand when the storms come.

Jesus bless you and have a wonderful day
