Wheat & Chaff

Matthew 13:37–43

In this day and age, when there is so much confusion, people not knowing what to believe and what to follow, it is so important that we take the Bible as our compass and literally believe it word for word.  The reason being, we do not want to get mixed up with the chaff, the temptations of this world. Because the Lord used the wheat as the children of God, the tares as the sinners of this world, and the angels as the harvesters.  The tares will be collected up and burnt and the precious wheat will be harvested into the barns.

We need to really be careful who we associate with, lest we become careless, indifferent and start to backslide.  I really believe, with all my heart, that we are definitely living in the last days, and it is most important that we are not associated with the evil standards of this world.  We really need to ask the Lord to keep us pure and very close to Him.
